Have you ever considered doing something like they did with Claremont and the x-men in the 70s and 80s, where one creator has a great degree of control over one title and its characters over a long period of time? I always enjoy stories where there's more of a consistent sense of direction over a long time, as opposed to several writers going in several different directions for shorter periods of time.

So, yeah, that does still occasionally happen.
